Visitors in Australia by overseas
resident
The line graph and table are showing the number of visitors to
Australia by overseas resident from 1975 to 2005. In this essay I am going to
describe the specific information.
First of all, the overall trend is that Australia becomes one of
the most popular countries because the number of the visitors is increasing. In
1975 the visitors to Australia by overseas resident around 10 million because
it was a new idea for people. Next, after 10 years the number of visitors
increased sharply by 5 million. After that, the huge increased happened from
1985 to 1995 which was approximately 10 million. A further increase happened in
2005 when the number of visitors reached about 30 million.
Secondly, on the other hand we have a table which shows you the
number of visitors from different countries. The highest increase was for Japan
which was close to 9 million because Japan is very close to Australia. While
the lowest increased was for USA which was around 1 million because most
American people do not have passport and it’s very far from Australia.
All in all, the two figures are connected together because both of
them show us the percentage of Australia visitors.
